The Alma Lodge Rebrand

Founded in the 1950s as small nine bedroom family run establishment, the Alma Lodge hotel has now grown to become a fifty two bedroom modern hotel. It prides itself on being one of the finest residential hotels in Stockport, conveniently located just a 15 minute drive from Manchester Airport a short distance to Stockport train station.

The hotel was recently renovated and refurbished to offer unique blend of modern comfort, in keeping with it’s traditional elegance. Following the renovation, we were delighted to be asked to update the overall branding of the hotel.

Our design

The hotel is an excellent space for a selection of events; business meetings, conferences, weddings. Within the hotel is the Henderson’s Suite, Bar and Lounge serving afternoon tea and breakfast. Therefore, it was vital that in the rebranding of the hotel, we stuck to the traditional history and class the hotel has, and encapsulated this within the design, whilst building in the new contemporary style of the establishment. The logo we developed, was positioned on a grey background, in order to match and embrace the modern elegance of the hotel. To complement this, we used a simple, clean font, representative of the chic interior of the hotel. These particular elements and choices ensured that the new brand was able to be used across all applications, whether that be brochures and promotional materials or advertising events or for general signage and logos representing the hotel.

The effortlessly stylish branding we developed for the Alma Lodge, proves that more often than not, less is more. Drawing on out years of knowledge and expertise, we were able to design a beautiful, minimalistic logo for the Alma Lodge branding.

It was excellent to be able to assist the Alma Lodge in boosting promotional aspects with a new and unique design, that boasts the beautiful refurbishment of the hotel.
